Ferncourt High School Alumni Association South Florida (FHSAASF) was founded in July 2010. This organization is a registered entity with the State of Florida and was sanctioned by Ferncourt High School and the Ministry of Education.
This association is open to all FHS alumni living in South Florida. Our objectives are to unite all the alumni, professors, friends and families of our school, involve the members with their alma mater, and to pool our resources in an effort to give back to our school.

The Board's Message to our Members and Friends
Ferncourt High School Alumni Association South Florida (FHSAASF) was created in June 2010. A small group of Alumni, spearheaded by Peter Scott, discussed the various needs of Ferncourt High School (FHS) and decided to engage others in supporting their Alma Mater.
Presently, we are going full force, with an active Board of eleven members. We often communicate by teleconference and monthly social events are held at Calvin's Restaurant, 2901 Hollywood Blvd, Hollywood Florida.
Our mission and vision statements underscore the fact that the members of FHSAASF are committed to providing significant financial and social support to Ferncourt High School and our communities. As recipients of the high quality education acquired from FHS, we want to create an avenue where Alumni and friends can support FHS in delivering a superior level of education to all students.
Over the past year, FHSAASF has provided funding support to renovate the girls' bathroom as well as funding for 16 students so that they were able to sit the CXC exams. Incidentally, one of the recipients passed 8 subjects.
Like most educational institutions in Jamaica, FHS depends on limited Government funding. Consequently, the quality of education that the school is capable of delivering is adversely affected by the inadequate resources. Some of our goals include; more funding for students (books, computers, examination fees and scholarship). We would also like to assist with the creation of more bathrooms and general renovation to the building. We also anticipate working with local churches to reach out and provide financial and social support to the undeserved in our communities.
